When Dutch Cycling Culture Meets French Royal Heritage
We were delighted to attend—and proudly support—the official inauguration of Holland Bikes Tours & Rentals Versailles, an exciting new chapter in sustainable tourism.
Located within the historic grounds of the Château de Versailles, this new venture brings Dutch cycling expertise to one of France’s most iconic heritage sites. It offers visitors a unique and accessible way to explore Versailles—on two wheels—with the ease and charm that Dutch cycling culture is known for.
As the Netherlands France Chamber of Commerce, we are proud to count Holland Bikes among our valued members. It was a pleasure to support them in organizing this special event, which beautifully highlights the spirit of cross-cultural collaboration, entrepreneurship, and sustainable mobility.
We were honoured to share this milestone with esteemed guests, including:
- Sara Offermans, Deputy Head of Mission, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in France
- Emmanuelle de Crépy, Deputy Mayor of the City of Versailles
- Joop Zoetemelk, cycling legend and 1980 Tour de France winner
Our sincere congratulations to Bart Vos, Ruben Siekman, and the entire Holland Bikes team on this remarkable achievement.
We look forward to seeing visitors from around the world experience the beauty of Versailles through the lens of Dutch innovation and cycling culture.
